The majority of the books here are new, remaindered stock. Roughly 20 per cent of the items in stock are returns from other booksellers. These are totally readable but may have a slightly damaged or worn cover — the flaws are certainly hard to spot. You’ll find a broad range of titles, with cooking, children’s books and general fiction being the largest and most popular sections and art, computer guides, design and biographies not far behind. Children’s books start from $1 each and most stock is under $10. The most you’ll ever pay here is around $50 for a glossy, specialist hardback. Purchases can also be made online.
