BOOKED OUT

Pick up a book at Booked Out and enjoy it in one of the nearby cafes or restaurants in Randwick’s The Spot. There’s shelf upon shelf of pre-loved books at this cosy store, with everything from literature, crime, biographies, craft and foreign languages to children’s books, sci-fi, health, romance and sport — all available at well under half the retail price. You might even find some collectables in the unique Australiana section. Prices are as little as $5 for the classics to the latest crime novels, and there are always books available in the “cheap boxes” for $2 to $4. Booked Out buys books from the public and offers an exchange program for books bought outside the store or books exchanged internally, with an offer of either cash or credit available (credit pays slightly more).
