MARKET CITY

Market City rocks! Market City consists of three levels of retail shopping and houses Sydney’s huge Paddy’s Markets below. Now that’s a destination!

Let’s start with the second level. Here, you’ll find more than 30 factory outlets ready to entice you. With savings of up to 70 per cent off the recommended retail prices, we are talking about a serious shopping frenzy. Stores include Brands United, Seduce, Events, Forecast, Cotton On, Esprit, Supré, Frathouse, Jay Jays, Lonsdale, Liquid 8, Dotti, Ojay, Review, Undressed, Dotti, Nautica and Giordano. Also on this level you’ll find Babylon Health & Fitness Centre.

Level One has an interesting selection of cafes, food outlets, services and fresh produce as well as Thai Kee IGA Supermarket, which has the largest range of Asian-European produce in Sydney. There’s also a butcher, cake shop, barbecue shop and some wild fashion and specialty stores.

If you’re into dining and entertainment, head to level three. There’s yum cha at the China Grand and an international food court with fabulous city views and a fantastic variety of tastes. The five-screen state-of-the-art Reading cinema complex — with free parking for four hours on presentation of your movie ticket — and Galaxy World will keep the kids entertained while you shop.

Access to Market City couldn’t be easier with monorail and light rail stops just outside the entrance. It’s only a five-minute walk from Central Station or a short walk from the nearest bus stop, or you can park downstairs.
