The vibrant KAS factory outlet stocks discontinued lines from major retailers, samples from overseas markets and factory seconds (all clearly marked) for up to 70 per cent off retail. There is a lot of choice, with styles across the store ranging from soft pastels through to striking prints and bold colours. On our last visit, we headed straight towards the impressive racks of promotional samples and seconds in bed linen — a great way to update the bedroom at an affordable price. Some were embroidered, appliquéd or embellished with pretty lace and other tasteful trims, and priced between $15 and $60. You’ll definitely want to check out these racks when you visit! We also spotted 250-thread-count sheet sets for $69 (queen) and $79 (king), assorted quilt cover sets from $55 to $95, cushions, table runners and other napery, bed runners, comforters, throws and bean bags, all brightly displayed. Cushion covers start from $8 and sample swatch covers from $2. There are also lots of cushion inserts in a great variety of sizes, plus a range of candles, photo frames and notebooks.
