The enormous range includes quality fabrics in plain and patterned designs, with prices sometimes half that of normal retail prices. When we last called, thermal-lined fabrics were priced from $10 per metre (rrp $18 to $35 per metre) and lots of wide-width fabrics (ideal for quilt covers) and sheeting started from $12 per metre (rrp more than $30 per metre). Uncoated fabrics start from $8 per metre (rrp from $20) and upholstery fabrics from $10 per metre (normally $30 to $60 per metre). Ready-made block-out curtains were going for a steal at $45 per pair. Well-known brands in stock include Wilsons, Filigree, Charles Parsons, Warwick, Hoad and Rowe. New to the store is a range of brightly coloured Indian cottons, starting at $15 per metre. New stock arrives every day, so regular visits are advised.
