The Australian-owned and family-run Cordina Chicken factory outlet at Girraween offers outstanding value for fresh and frozen poultry, pre-prepared chicken products and other frozen foods. All chicken is made up of fresh chicken, clearance lines and some seconds. Specials change on a regular basis. On our latest visit, 12kg of frozen breast fillets were on sale for $90 and thighs for $84. Let’s just hope the family doesn’t get tired of chicken on the menu! The popular fillet range also includes Maryland cuts, breast minute steaks (2kg for $20) and more. Whole chickens come in all sizes and amazing prices. Year-round bargains can be found on products such as wing nibbles, sausages, burger patties and nuggets, to name a few. Quail and turkey and both free-range and caged eggs are also for sale. Cordina is halal-accredited for fresh poultry, with all non-halal products clearly labelled. Plenty of off-street parking is available including disabled access.
