This importer, distributor and wholesaler of fine food products has two direct-to-public outlets in Sydney that are filled with an eclectic range of international foods. Along with meat (beef, lamb, pork, game meat), smallgoods, imported and local cheeses, and chilled and frozen seafood there are off-the-shelf products such as herbs, spices and condiments, cooking wines and oils, pastas, Asian products, dried fruit and nuts, organic and gluten-free products, syrups and sauces. The gourmet products on offer are the same quality (and some of the same brands) that you will find in one particular premium department store, but are a great deal cheaper. Shopping here is an adventure in itself, as you browse goods you’ve probably never heard of before and concoct a dinner recipe around the great-value buys. It certainly makes gourmet cooking exciting, not to mention cheap! Definitely worth a visit.
