Designer Kim Stewart loves classic chairs and designers such as Warren McArthur, Fendrick Stuckenbroker, Bertoia, Gazzini, Boldi, Parker and Fleur feature at her funky Redfern outlet. She also stocks industrial creations such as industrial desks, Egyptian shop fronts and steel pieces, as well as art deco styles and unique pieces that will add your individual style to your home. On our last visit, we spotted chairs by Bruno Mathsson selling for $2800 (normally $5000), industrial desks by renowned architect Norman Foster for $2500 (normally retailing for US $5200), and an old operating table from the early 1900s with a stunning stainless-steel top for $2800. Kim is now also stocking old retro chairs which she upholsters with new designer fabrics and sells for just $550. Customers can choose their own unique upholstery in store. This place is like a treasure trove of inimitable, conversation-starter furniture pieces.
