Students wield the shears and hairdryers, but if you have a more complex hair cut in mind you may be able to arrange a second-year student or even one of the educators to do your ‘do. The latter will cost a little more, but will still be cheaper than mainstream salons. A wash, cut and blow dry by a student will set you back just $15 for short hair to $25 if your locks are long. Colours range from $30 for tinting (roots) to $100 for a full head of highlights. Keratin straightening is also offered and is considerably less expensive than other salons. Bookings are essential.
