You can find a great range of bulk-buy animal feeds and fertilisers here at Enfield Produce which the owners claim is the “cheapest in Sydney”. A combination pet and garden centre, Enfield Produce stocks pet accessories (such as cages and leads) and sells rabbits from $20 and guinea pigs from $15. You can buy chickens here and the store also has hand-raised birds when in season. When we last checked, a 20kg bag of Pets Delight dry dog food was $20 (retails at more than $23) and the range of birdseed starts from $1.30 a kilo. But it’s not just pet bargains here. For the garden, Dynamic Lifter fertiliser bags were $24 for 35kg (rrp $28) and Aquasol was $7 per kilo (rrp $11 per kilo). Enfield Produce also stocks pool products such as chlorine and salt, and a year-round supply of firewood ($11.50 for 20kg when we called), which is excellent value.
