This double bill of Newtown-based vintage/consignment stores is run by a husband-and-wife team whose fashion industry and styling experience is written in the racks of quality pieces at a range of price points. There’s mainly women’s clothing here, with the bulk of it from the 1950s to the ’70s and a selection from eras either side of that. Most vintage stock is imported from overseas. Dresses start from as low as $20 (1970s) and go up to $250 (1950s). Recycled designer clothing sold on consignment makes up 30 per cent of the stock, with labels such as Zimmermann, Collette Dinnigan, Chloe, Christian Dior, Gucci, Zara, Armani and more. Men will find a dedicated rack of clothing in each store with vintage and designer suits, jackets, shirts and vests. Pre-loved and designer shoes, handbags and hats are also neatly laid out for your vintage viewing pleasure.
