Stock here is nearly all by the Barkins brand, made up of discounted current-season, reduced past-season, samples and seconds. A heavenly range of business clothing, lingerie, casualwear and activewear is all discounted by up to 70 per cent off rrp. Huge bargains can be found on denim and basics. When we surveyed the stock, we saw last season’s tops, skirts and dresses starting from an incredible $5.95, with current-season markdowns from $9.95. Bra sets were from $9.95, as were shoes (including work shoes, court shoes, sandals and ballet flats). When the season’s right there’ll be knitwear, coats, boots and swimwear ready to dive into your shopping bag. Women in their twenties to forties in sizes 8 to 16 (with a great sense of style, mind you) will just devour the bargains here. A small amount of men’s wear is available (T-shirts, shirts, business attire), but is priced to clear.
